Our Kayak Instructors are certified with "Paddle Canada" and our Kayak Guides are certified with the "Sea Kayak Guides Alliance
of BC" All kayak leaders hold valid CPR / First-aid appropriate to their level of kayak certification.
We keep a 1:4 Leader
to Participant ratio for kayak courses and kayak tours.
(tours using double kayaks may use 1:6)
Personal development
is one of the key values in our business. Our guides / instructors are active, growing their skills and knowledge as paddlers
and leaders. As a result sometimes we are not as available to lead and teach as we might like, but personal paddling
trips are essential for maintaining our enthusiasm for the sport and building the skills and knowledge we pass on to our participants.
